Attended the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Make a Muscle Conference at Howard Community College to display my cookbook.  This conference was provided for individuals diagnosed with a neuromuscular disease, family members, caregivers, physicians, nurses, healthcare professionals and policy makers.  Participants learned about several diseases in MDA's program, received research and clinical trial updates, gained insight from others on ways to live better with a neuromuscular disease, as well as receiving information on available resources available within the community.

Invited as a speaker by the the Harford Sjogren's Syndrome Support Group.  I shared with the group the background on creating my cookbook, "I Can Eat That!".
